Introduction

Dentsoft is a technology company accredited by the Ministry of Health, providing clinical management and solutions (Cloud-based ERP and CRM solutions in accordance with ISO 27001 and ISO 15504 Standards) to dental clinics. Dentsoft provides dental software services with Private cloud technology using DT Cloud infrastructure.

Challenge

Dentsoft had limited opportunities working with Vodafone solutions that did not give them flexibility and required scalability when their customer base started to grow. Moreover, they had to get support from other companies during the maintenance and grew their personnel cost to run these servers. Dentsoft needed a cloud operator who could meet the scalability requirement and be in line with local regulations and have all compliances.

Solution

Before DT Cloud, they were working with limited capacity and limited customers, and there was always an additional cost when they had another customer and there was not possibility for automatic scalability. When Dentsoft started to use DT Cloud Data Base as a Service as a part of PaaS,  Dentsoft receive required flexibility, so they can get as much infrastructure service as they want, expand as much as they want and grow as much as they want and whenever they need.  Dentsoft also no longer has to deal with high costs,  such as infrastructure costs, backup costs, and staffing costs.

Outcome

Normally, before Dentsoft started to use DT Cloud, the number of customers using their platform was around 2000. Because of limited capacity, they were thinking that 2000 -2500 customers is the maximum customer number that they will be able to host. Now, with the power and flexibility in terms of the service and infrastructure that DT Cloud DBaaS provides, they are able to add much more than 2 thousand customers every year. Because of the PaaS system, DT Cloud has helped to grow its infrastructure by one hundred percent.

Moreover, they eliminated any extra infrastructure costs, licensing costs, any resource increase costs. They can use as many resources as they want such as network and hardware while they are only paying for what they actually use.

Dentsoft has gained a huge infrastructure and service advantage thanks to DT Cloud. Previously, they had to work with limited capacity and number of customers, but now they can scale as much as they want. Thanks to the PaaS services and infrastructure with pay as you go possibilities provided by DT Cloud, they have the capacity to add thousands of new customers every year. This means that issues such as infrastructure costs, licensing costs and resource augmentation costs are completely eliminated.
